The calm after the storm in Avoriaz
The blizzard has passed and Avoriaz is calm once again
Despite the rain that has fallen on the slopes of Avoriaz this past couple of days, the pistes remain in surprisingly good condition thanks to the large amount of snow that has fallen this season.
The storms this week brought strong winds and heavy precipitations to Avoriaz, causing a full closure of the resort on Wednesday. Things are back to normal now and the forecast is calling for mild temperatures which will create a fun layer of soft, slushy snow on top of the pistes this weekend.
