Cold, wet but fun skiing in Avoriaz
Mix of snow and rain for Avoriaz
After huge amounts of snow at the end of last week rising temperatures made for a rainy weekend.
This caused a bit of a lull in the skiing on the weekend, but temperatures are dropping and the rain-affected snow will soon be buried under cold fresh snow. The forecast is for a snowy wintery week ahead.
The resort is busy but if you pick and choose where to ski at the right times you can avoid the worst of it.
