Videos from Avoriaz - The Northstar Stash
Burton riders Keegan Valaika and Mikkel Bang ride the first ever Stash in the resort of Northstar California.
The Stash is a new innovation in freestyle riding. Rather than using metal rails for jib objects and exhaust-coughing snowmobiles to shape kickers in a traditional park, The Stash aims to take advantage of natural terrain, local wood products and all the creative elements the mountain has to offer. Mixing all the available terrain The Stash creates a wooded run that will test your riding flow and your freestyle skills.
This video shows the original Stash in Northstar California which was built one year before the first European Stash in Avoriaz.

Take the high speed six seater Prolays chairlift and you will find yourself there.
Ever wondered why the Swiss Alps are so clean? Why the mountain air is so pure, why the peaks are covered by nothing by the whitest snow?
Well it is all down to a hard working team of Swiss locals who work, like the R.N.L.I, as volunteers to protect that which is most precious.
